About PowerScan

Last updated October 26, 2026

PowerScan shows what a website can read from your browser, and tells you plainly what it could not measure.

What PowerScan is

A free page that reads the signals your browser exposes to any website: your public IP and rough location, time zone, languages, screen, graphics and audio details, and whether they agree with each other. It runs in your browser and shows the result only to you.

Who makes it

PowerScan is made by the team behind PowerOps, a desktop application for running isolated browser profiles. It is the page PowerOps opens in a new profile, and anyone can use it for free.

What it does not claim

The score measures signal coverage and consistency, not anonymity or authenticity. A check a page script cannot make is listed as Not tested, never guessed.

Free, with no account

There is nothing to sign up for and the site shows no ads. Visits are counted with Google Analytics, using cookies only if you accept (see Privacy).
